A day full of love for the mothers
A week before 15th May was a special week dedicated to the mothers. Ms, Sangita Sen, the headmistress at RJRND briefed the children about mothers’ day that is being observed all over the world on 14th May. She told the children what a beautiful role model a mother is to a child and why should they make their mothers feel important and wanted. The children were happy and started preparing a card for their mothers, asking them to visit the center on 15th May.

Mothers had a unique experience as most of them expressed their happiness for this special event. The ladies of the tailoring unit were also addressed by the Headmistress and they were told about the importance of healthy diet and self care. They received a small pack of Matar Dal too.
Distribution of Matar ki Dal to mothers In order to ensure the participation of students in the remedial classes, short essay writing competition on ‘My Mother’ was organised. Students of the learning centre, remedial, ASHA and FADA units enthusiastically participated in drawing competition on 23rdMay. The winners will be suitably rewarded in the month of June.
