Health is an important component of all our programs related to education. On 21st July, a health camp was organized for the students of Sanjay Colony Learning Center. Deepalaya coordinated with Max Super Specialty Hospital in Saket for the checkups.

Students from LKG to Class II and also the tuition (boys) got their checkups done. In all 178 students were examined.  The team from Max hospital gave medicines for de-worming, cough and cold, vitamins, calcium etc. free of cost. They also monitored the height and weight of all students. Some of our teachers were given the responsibility of registration and taking note of details of children. The teachers also took note of the prescription given to the children. After the camp, they told the parents about the medicine and how it has to be administered to the kids. The parents were very happy to receive free services from a hospital like Max, which is a known name in the market.
