Amway India carried-out disinfection drive at Deepalaya
The dramatic spread of COVID-19 has disrupted lives, livelihoods, communities and education worldwide. Organizations around the world are coming together to minimize the impact on health. Although, the risk of getting infected is high at all levels, yet Child care Institutions face a different kind of risk.
Deepalaya school Gusbethi and our Children’s home are fighting the coronavirus spread by sanitizing the premises, classrooms, floors and washrooms during this shutdown. Internal sanitization with the help of disinfectants conducted through #Amway India. We know that hygiene and cleanliness are the keys to deter the spread of coronavirus and keep our students healthy and safe, therefore conducted internal sanitization at both the locations.
Cleaning of visible surfaces followed by spraying of disinfectant is an excellent practice to prevent the spread of COVID19 virus and taking other precautions in a school setting which is settled at a short drive away from Gurgaon lies Mewat, situated among the fringe districts of Haryana.
The drive was conducted in both – boys’ and girls’ homes, where 70 children stay together. Before disinfecting the premises, children were shifted to the nearby campus. They were engaged in different activities to keep them motivated. The drive was conducted with the help of Group 4, a company specializing in providing these services. While the kids enjoyed themselves, the homes were ready towards the end of the day. Of course, they wore a cleaner look. Children felt relaxed and happy. It feels better that there is this cleaning done through the support of Amway India, students added.
