Farewell of Students at Deepalaya School Gusbethi
“I cannot say goodbye to those whom I have grown to love, for the memories we have made will last a lifetime and will never know a goodbyeâ€
The function began with the recitation of the school prayer. Dr Manoj Kumar, principal of the school gave the welcome speech. Mr A.J Philip, secretary and chief executive of Deepalaya enlightened the students with his inspirational speech.
Students of class 10th current batch presented very interesting skits, group dance and Solo singing performances which entertained the audience to the fullest. A beautiful skit showing a contrast between college and school life was also presented. A group of 9th class entertained the audience with their energy-rich dance performances. The performances were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
Students were recollecting the memories and the time spent in the school and bidding farewell to them with a heavy heart, but with a hope that they fair well in life left everyone teary-eyed.
Different Titles were awarded to different students, the title of Mr and Ms Helpful was won by head girl and head boy of the school. Thereafter Mr A.J Philip honored the students of 10th class with a farewell card and pen with a lot of heartily wishes to perform well in their board exams which will be starting from March 4, 2020.
On concluding the event of farewell a group of 10th class students sung the farewell song & gave the Farewell Speech. Token of love was given to all the outgoing students.
Summing up, an eventful farewell organized for the students ended with the message of not to be dismayed at goodbyes, “Go confidently in the DIRECTION of your dreams live in LIFE you’ve imagined.”
The day was great, filled with nostalgia and fun and excitement!
