It was an exciting October day for fifty students, of the Father and Daughter Alliance (FADA) Program from Girls from Children's Home performing a dance number.Sanjay Colony, South Delhi. They were to visit, Deepalayas Children’s Home, Gusbethi as part of their fun cum educational tour. Tours are a great way for children to bond with one another and share a group camaraderie. The journey from Delhi to Gusbethi was a thrilling experience for the girls. Laughter and fun ruled the ride.

After reaching and having some light refreshments, a cultural program was hosted by the talented young in-mates. An introduction to the Children’s Home and a guided tour through the facility, helped the students to understand the project and its aims in a practical way.

Children from both the projects danced to a DJ’s tunes, teachers joined in too, adding to the FADA girls, inmates of Deepalaya Children's Home and staff posing for the momentexcitement and laughter. This was followed by a sumptuous vegetarian lunch in the dining hall.

The FADA girls left for Delhi the same evening with joyful memories of a day, they will never forget.
