Muskan- a day to remember

“Try and fall, But don’t fail to try”.. Keeping this in mind, the students of Deepalaya Gram, Gusbethi visited Management Development Institute (MDI)-Gurgaon to participate in their annual affair- Muskan on 24 September, 2011.

Keeping this in mind, the students of Deepalaya Gram, Gusbethi visited Management Development Institute (MDI)-Gurgaon to participate in their annual affair- Muskan on 24 September, 2011.

‘Muskan’ is a one day programme organized by Samaritans- the social initiative and Corporate Social Responsibility Club of MDI-Gurgaon. The program is a combination of games, cultural activities and other fun filled activities aimed at spreading a smile on the face of the children.

Muskan began with a friendly football match which was won by the MDI-Team. The Deepalaya football team enthralled everyone with their smart moves and kicks on the football ground.

The program also showcased many cultural activities like Rajasthani group dance, solo song, skit and a group song by small kids. The children performed with utmost confidence and the colorful costumes and the lively dance kept the audience spell bound. The MDI band was also not far behind and presented group songs in collaboration with the Deepalayans.
 
The lively day come to an end with a sale of art and handicraft items made by the students. The success of the sale was evident by the huge crowd thronging the desks to purchase the beautiful items.
