Yet another feather in our cap

Five children of DCH participated in this competition. It was amazing to see the ideas that children were able to portray through their paintings, for addressing one of the burning issues of Mewat (now Nuh). Mohan from DCH got the first prize and one girl Shehzadi got a motivational prize. All guests gave their best wishes to children. The news was also covered in a leading local daily.

District-level competitions: Every year, children from Deepalaya School Gusebthi, participate in district-level Ms. Meena Kumari with inmates of Deepalaya Children's Homecompetitions. This year too, students took part in a number of competitive activities organized by District Counsel for child welfare, Mewat at Sardar Gurmukh Singh Memorial School from 5th November to 10th November, 2016.  The prize distribution function was held on 11thNovember, 2016 at the district headquarter, Nuh in the presence of District Child Welfare officer, Chairperson of Child Welfare Committee and other IDCS staff. The function was presided over by Additional District Commissioner.

The students participated in Quiz competition, Sketching, poster making, Rangoli, Fancy Dress, Solo songs, Solo Dance and Group Dance and brought us laurels by winning prizes in almost all categories.

Inter-school Painting Competition: Water and sanitation group organized block-level painting competition on 16th November at Senior Secondary School, Tauru with water conservation and sanitation as its theme. 80Inmates from Deepalaya Children's Home with their certificates and trophies that they won in district level competition Students from almost all schools in Tauru block participated in it. Ms. Meena Kumari, Child welfare committee member especially invited children from Deepalaya children’s home.
