Education of the child is the fuel of development. It is essential that this Right To Education become truly egalitarian and encompass every child- the marginalized, the differently abled, the girl child, and the child from vulnerable circumstances. This has been Deepalaya goal for decades- helping every child achieve self-reliance.
It takes a village to raise a child, and therefore it is essential that the community develops and progresses along with its children. Keeping this in mind, Deepalaya has several community welfare programmes in place, along with projects targeting gender equality, healthcare, and mainstreaming children with special needs.
We are working in more than 35 projects across Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Our projects can divided into six broad categories, which are –
